About One of Love
Mrs. Mari Natsuki and Mr. Nobu Maito were looking for ways to help children in development countries. Last year they visited Bangladesh and Ethiopia. They were inspired by the beautiful roses of Ethiopia.

"One day we would like to support these children by selling roses!", they decided. Acting quickly they launched the "One of Love" project upon their return to Japan. They started with activities they could do themselves without creating a large organization.

About the name "One of Love":
The initiators found that it is impossible to make other people happy without being happy yourself. That is the reason their activities and movement will be named “One of Love”.

One of Love Objectives :
One day they would like to introduce rose gardens in Ethiopia and other African countries. This is where the people could work. This would create a working environment for the offspring in the future.

Rather than keep this limited to a one way volunteering effort let's try to help each other and change their social environment step by step.

One of Love meets Poken
To support the "One of Love" Project we have created a special "One of Love" Poken design. This is the first Poken design created in Japan featuring the "One of Love" red rose on a smiling character. The eyes of the character are shaped like hearts according to the small hearth in the official logo of "One of Love".

10% of the profit of the "One of Love" Pokens will be donated to the "One of Love" foundation to develop African countries through the purchase of land and the development of extensive rose gardens.

Dutch twist

Peter (on the right) from Poken Japan, Ayman (on the Left) from Poken Benelux and I (in the middle) met a week ago. Peter was excited right away to help with this project. During that meeting I decided to join the project but to provide it with a Dutch twist.

Since the Poken is already quite popular in the Netherlands (there are now over 150.000 pieces sold) a lot of people have a Poken at this moment. That is why I decided to sell the "One of Love" cover seperately (so this is without the Poken hand; you will need to have a poken already)
